I was raised in Monroe, LA  where I was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.  I married Kenneth Platt in 1970.   After returning from  his duty tour of duty  Viet Nam, we moved to Lafayette in 1973 and became members of Ascension Episcopal Church.  Our son Todd was born in 1974 and I was widowed in 1978.  While I was at Ascension, I was very involved in teaching Christian Education both at church and at Ascension Day School.  In March 2011 I moved my letter from Ascension to St. Barnabas.  I am currently employed by Lafayette Parish Schools at Ernest Gallet as a teaching assistant with special needs children.  I feel God continues to call me to work with children and I look forward getting to know each of you and your family.
