Children's Sunday School

Sunday School for 2008-2009 welcomes a new schedule, a new curriculum, and a whole bunch of new teachers, excited to work with our kids. Team Leaders for each class are: Mary & Kate Lobdell (PK4-K5); Sarah Walker (Grades 1-2); Katy Lee (Grades 3-4); and Eileen Hoff (Grade 5). Children’s Sunday School begins at 10:20a, before “Big Church” begins, and continues through the Offertory, when Sunday School children and their teachers are led by an Acolyte back into church so that families may enjoy Communion together.

All lesson plans follow the Revised Common Lectionary, that schedule of lessons used by The Episcopal Church, so children will study the same lessons that parents and older siblings hear in church.

If you are interested in signing up to teach, opportunities can be made available. No teaching experience is needed, and we promise you’ll get to spend some time in “Big Church,” too. Children may sign up for Sunday School at any time during the year, and friends are always welcome.
