What?: United Blood
Services non-profit community blood centers provide blood, blood
components and special services to hospital patients.
Why?: United Blood
Services exists to make a difference in people’s lives by bringing
together the best people, inspiring individuals to donate blood,
producing a safe and ample blood supply, advancing cutting-edge
research and embracing continuous quality improvement.
When?: United Blood
Services is a full time agency, operating Monday through Friday during
office hours and year round.
Who?: This agency has
been operating in the Lafayette area for many years, and the Executive
Director of the Lafayette office is Susan Begnaud. For several years,
Saint Barnabas has participated in semi-annual blood drives on the
church campus.
