Mr. Jude Gaspard

Minister of Music

Jude Gaspard has served at Saint Barnabas as Minister of Music since the fall of 2008, and has served as Band Director at North Vermilion High School for five years.

Jude earned a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, and has since completed nine graduate hours toward a Master's in Music.

Before coming to Saint Barnabas, Jude served as the accompanist for the Voices of St. Mary Magdalene Choir in Abbeville, LA. He performs regularly on trumpet, piano, and organ, at events throughout the area.

At St. B's, Jude provides for the music at all three Sunday services and directs the
Adult Choir. In addition to growing the size of the Adult Choir, Jude hopes to grow the sense of community within the parish' music ministries.
