Kitchen Remodel Begins April 21

We are moving forward with the next phase of our Capital Campaign Plan.

We are moving forward with the next phase of our Capital Campaign Plan. The long awaited kitchen remodel will begin April 21. We are expanding the space of the kitchen that will be equipped with state of the art commercial appliances including two gas cooktops, ovens, and commercial under the counter dishwasher, commercial ice maker, refrigerator, freezer, food warmer, and microwave. The kitchen will have more storage and multiple sinks. The electrical and plumbing will be brought up to code.

Also, if you have any moving boxes, please take them to the Christian Education Room 12. We have to clear out the kitchen so that construction may begin.

Thank you to all who continue to make our Capital Campaign a success!

Barbara Lambert, Kitchen Remodel Coordinator

Community Garden Presentation

St. Barnabas Community Garden

Please join us on Saturday, April 26 at 9:00a in Ramsay Hall.

Gerald P. Roberts, Horticulturist and Master Gardener with the LSU AgCenter here in Lafayette, will give a talk/presentation on vegetable production, soil analysis, and pest control. You don’t have to have a plot in our garden to come and enjoy his talk, and you might just learn something. At the very least, come and enjoy the fellowship!

Everyone is welcome at the table at Saint Barnabas.  We have four services throughout the week.

Welcome to Saint Barnabas

Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church is a Christ-Centered Community which exists to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ by proclaiming the Gospel, worshiping together and celebrating the Eucharist, consciously committing our whole selves, ministering to our parish family and to others while growing spiritually through prayer and study.

Beginning Our Next 50 Years
A Prayer for St. Barnabas
Loving God, by whose grace we have our very being; we give you most hearty thanks for St. Barnabas and his example of mission and ministry, and we give you thanks for this parish which carries his name.  As we begin our next fifty years of service to you and to the world, we ask that you continue to bless us as abundantly as you have in the past.  We ask that your Holy Spirit teach and guide us as we move forward into the future, keeping us always aware that we are your hands, feet and voice in the world, called to love you and our neighbor in all that we do.  We pray these things in the name of your perfect servant, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen.

                                                                                                                     Faithfully,  Fr. John B+
